Money for Air?!

Petro-Canada is NOT the only culprit here. Esso is at it as well. 50cents for air to put in my tire? Kudos to Superstore for NOT charging me AND giving me 15cents off per litre on my gas.

RAWR!

For the record Jimmy Fallon;

Your assistant = HAWT!

Smarten Up! NBC I am Looking At You!

I understand why you do this but it does not mean it is not stupid. Think about it NBC - I want to watch your clips - a lot of us want to but you will not let us. (read: Jimmy Fallon since he is the ONLY good thing on your "peacock" - get it? *heh* anyways...)

For those of us NOT in the US (there is a world beyond your borders) you force us to download/stream/watch your TV shows from other locations.

I registered for your beta and was very excited. This "US Centric" theme kills me everytime I see a link and forces me to look elsewhere. How many other sites do you think are doing the same? (Actually I do know of a few but nothing a good proxy doesn't cure).

Curious...

When I call your establishment *insert company here*, and you ASK if you may put me on hold and I say "No." Why is it you proceed to place me on hold regardless. Are you that ignorant? Perhaps deaf? (I wouldn't assume so since you use the phone all day.)
Instead of asking the question, "May I put you on hold?" why not just say"Hold Please."

Of course this then opens a new can of worms in that "How dare you tell em what to do!"

AACS Hacked In A Day

Why are they even bothering anymore? It takes less than 24hrs for it to be hacked and posted. Isn’t it time they looked at alternative sales/distro models for their movies instead of fighting what is an obvious losing battle?

VincenzoRomano writes "ArsTechnica has just published an update to the neverending story about copy protection used in HD DVD and Blu-ray discs and hacker efforts against it. From the article: 'The ongoing war between content producers and hackers over the AACS copy protection used in HD DVD and Blu-ray discs produced yet another skirmish last week, and as has been the case as of late, the hackers came out on top. The hacker BtCB posted the new decryption key for AACS on the Freedom to Tinker web site, just one day after the AACS Licensing Authority (AACS LA) issued the key.' The article proposes a simple description of the protection schema and a brief look back at how the cracks have slowly chipped away at its effectiveness. It seems it'll be a long way to an effective solution ... if any. One could also argue whether all that money spent by the industry in this race will be worth the results and how long it would take for a return on investment."

Not so much a fuck you from me as it is from them to the copyright protectors. *SNAP*

Not Really a Rant

Welcome back to the England team Becks.

Fuck you McClown for leaving him out, and fuck you too Capello for shunning him for several games after he signed somewhere else. Admit it you 2, you're both fucked up as coaches - am I better than you? Damn straight. Will I get the chance - perhaps. Fucking bite me morons. DB07 will prove you wrong once more. Go get 'em Becks.
